Our attorneys have long been recognized for their breadth of experience and depth of knowledge and offer a wide range of legal services to our clients.

Mr. Ioannou is a partner with the Firm and practices primarily in the areas of contract law, real estate law, condominium/homeowner association law, foreclosure defense, loan modifications, and title insurance and escrow services.

 

Mr. Ioannou graduated from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in May of 1999. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ioannou obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University’s School of Business and Entrepreneurship in 1996 and placed on the National Dean’s List. While pursuing his M.B.A. degree, Mr. Ioannou also earned a Specialty Degree in Management Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University’s School of Computer and Information Sciences in 1996.

 

While in law school, Mr. Ioannou received numerous honors and awards. He was awarded the Book Award (highest grade in the class) in the course of Computers in the Law and the Book Award in the course of Negotiating. Mr. Ioannou also completed an Internet course from the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School in 1998-1999. Additionally, he was a Moot Court member, a middle school temporary teacher and a clinical mediator.

 

Mr. Ioannou is currently a member of the American Bar Association (A.B.A.) and a member of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. Mr. Ioannou is currently a member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

Mr. Ioannou is a partner with the Firm and has a very specialized and unique practice which primarily focuses on intellectual property and real estate transactions. Specifically, Mr. Ioannou handles all aspects of trademark matters, including registration, licensing, agreements, enforcement and infringement and unfair competition litigation.

 

He has been a member in good standing with the Florida Bar since 1993 and has considerable experience in all Florida courts, including trial and appellate courts as well as a special expertise in the Federal courts in Florida, New York and New Jersey and in the Federal appellate courts throughout the United States, including the Eleventh and Second Circuit Courts of Appeal. Mr. Ioannou also handles opposition, cancellation and other administrative proceedings before the United States Trial and Appeal Board in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

 

Mr. Ioannou earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance with a minor in Justice from The American University in Washington, DC, and earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
